Why Lightwave Coffee?
“Smooth, balanced, and never bitter.”
Lightwave Coffee has its roots in Elabrew Coffee, a Santa Monica coffee shop featuring our specialty coffee and roasts. Founder Joy Park wanted to bring her coffee beyond Elabrew, so she started Lightwave to serve loyal customers, coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants with premium blends curated for exceptional flavor. Each coffee is selected for its unique profile and sourced from specialty growers from around the world.
Roasted for Character
As specialty roasters, we roast on the lighter side to highlight the natural qualities of each coffee, allowing more of its origin, sweetness, and distinctive flavor to come through.
Selectively Sourced Coffee
We taste a lot of coffees before deciding what to carry. If a coffee doesn’t meet our standards and SCA’s 80+ score, we’d rather wait for one that does.
Quality Without Compromise
Quality and consistency come first, even when green coffee prices rise. We don’t substitute lower-grade coffees.
